What deductions are usual on an Indian payslip?
Employee PF (12% of Basic, often capped at ₹1,800 on the ₹15,000 wage ceiling), ESI (0.75% of gross if gross is ₹21,000 or less), professional tax (state-specific, up to ₹2,500 a year) and TDS on salary.
How is LOP handled?
Enter LOP days and tick “Prorate earnings” to scale each earning by paid days ÷ days in the month. Deductions are not prorated automatically — adjust PF or others if needed.
Is a generated payslip valid proof of income?
A payslip issued by the employer is commonly accepted. Lenders may also ask for bank statements or Form 16 to verify it.
