How to use Internet / Wi-Fi Bill Maker (Broadband)

  1. Enter your broadband business name, GSTIN and state once.
  2. Add the customer, customer ID, plan, speed and connection type.
  3. Set the billing period and due date, then the plan rental and any router, static IP or installation charges.

What GST applies to internet service?

Internet access and broadband service is taxed at 18% (SAC 998422). Charge CGST + SGST for a customer in your state and IGST for one in another state. If you are not registered, set GST to 0%.

Can I show the previous balance?

Yes. Enter the last bill’s amount and what was paid — the difference is carried as previous balance (or as a credit if the customer paid more).

Can the customer pay by UPI?

Switch on the UPI QR and enter your UPI ID. The QR carries the exact amount payable and the bill number as the note.

Can I make a bill for any purchase?

Issue these documents only for real transactions that you or your business actually made. Making bills for purchases that did not happen is fraud and a punishable offence.
