Are my files uploaded anywhere?

How does the editable mode work?
Each page is drawn twice in your browser: once normally and once with all text left out. The text-free picture becomes the slide background and the text is placed on top as editable text boxes with the same position, size, weight and colour.
Why does some text look slightly different?
PowerPoint uses the fonts installed on your computer. If the PDF used a font you do not have, a similar one is substituted, so line lengths can change a little.
What size are the slides?
The slide size follows the first page, so A4 portrait pages give portrait slides and presentation PDFs give 16:9 slides. Pages of a different shape are centred on the slide.
How do I convert a PDF to PPT?
Drop the PDF, choose Picture only or Editable text, select the pages and click Convert to PowerPoint. The PPTX file downloads straight away.
