Fill & Create PDF Forms
Fill in the fields of any fillable PDF form, or draw new text boxes, checkboxes and dropdowns to make your own fillable PDF.
About Fill & Create PDF Forms
This tool lets you fill a PDF form online free and also create fillable PDF forms of your own. Open any fillable PDF and type into its fields from a list, clicking a field on the page to jump to it. To make a form, pick a field type, such as a text box, checkbox or dropdown, and drag it onto the page, then name it and set its options.
When you are done, save the PDF with fields still editable, or flatten it so the values become fixed page content for a final copy. It works for application forms, rental forms and simple office forms. There is no sign-up, and the form is processed in your browser, so your details are not uploaded.
How to use Fill & Create PDF Forms
- Drop a PDF form or try the sample rental application.
- Fill form: type into the fields listed on the left — click a field on the page to jump to it.
- Add fields: pick a field type and drag on the page to place it; rename it and set dropdown options.
- Choose whether to flatten, then click Save PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is opened and processed entirely inside your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for confidential documents.
What does “Flatten” do?
It turns the filled fields into normal page content, so the values can no longer be edited. Use it when sending a final copy; leave it off if someone else still needs to fill or change the form.
Why can’t I type Hindi in a field?
Field appearances are drawn with the standard PDF font Helvetica, which supports Latin characters only. Hindi, Tamil and other scripts need an embedded Unicode font, which most viewers cannot add to existing form fields.
Does it support XFA (LiveCycle) forms?
No. Dynamic XFA forms are removed and the regular AcroForm fields underneath are used, as most modern tools do. Fields that only exist in XFA will not appear.
How do I make a PDF into a fillable form?
Open the PDF, choose Add fields, pick a field type and drag on the page where it should go. Name each field, then save the PDF; anyone can fill it in a PDF reader.
Can I fill a PDF that has no form fields?
Yes. Add text boxes or checkboxes where you need to write, fill them in, and tick Flatten before saving so the text becomes part of the page.
