Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is opened and processed entirely inside your browser using JavaScript libraries. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for confidential documents.
Is this a legally valid digital signature?
This adds a visible image of your signature (an electronic signature). It is not a certificate-based digital signature (DSC) like those used for GST or MCA filings, which need a DSC token and dedicated software.
How do I get a clean signature image?
Sign in dark ink on white paper, photograph it in good light and upload it with “Remove white background” ticked.
What about password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted PDFs cannot be edited directly. Remove the password first with the Unlock PDF tool (you need the password), then use the unlocked copy.
How do I put my signature on a PDF?
