Loan Comparison Calculator

Compare two or three loan offers side by side — EMI, total interest and total cost including fees — and see the cheapest.

About Loan Comparison Calculator

Choosing between two or three loan offers is easier when you compare the total cost, not just the rate. This free loan comparison calculator puts offers side by side: enter the loan amount, then each lender's interest rate, tenure and fees such as processing, legal and valuation charges.

It shows the EMI, total interest and total cost for each offer and highlights the cheapest. Use it for home loan offers, personal loans and car loans, or to check whether a home loan balance transfer is worth it by entering the outstanding amount and remaining tenure. Everything is calculated in your browser.

How to use Loan Comparison Calculator

  1. Enter the loan amount you need.
  2. Fill in rate, tenure and fees for each offer (tick the box to add a third).
  3. The offer with the lowest total cost is highlighted.

Frequently asked questions

Why compare total cost and not just EMI?

A longer tenure lowers the EMI but raises total interest. Fees such as processing charges and legal/valuation fees also add to what you pay, so the fairest comparison is interest plus all fees.

Should I include GST in fees?

Yes — enter fees inclusive of 18% GST so the comparison reflects the cash you actually pay.

Is a balance transfer worth it?

Usually when the rate difference is at least 0.5–0.75% and many years remain, because interest savings then exceed the new lender’s fees. Use this tool with the outstanding amount and remaining tenure.

How do I compare loan offers?

Compare the total cost: interest over the full tenure plus all fees. A lower EMI from a longer tenure can cost more overall.

Which is better, a lower rate or lower processing fee?

Usually the lower rate on large, long loans, because interest outweighs a one-time fee. On small or short loans the fee can matter more; the calculator shows which wins.

Can I compare loans with different tenures?

Yes. Each offer can have its own tenure; the tool compares the total amount you would pay.
