Is this AI super-resolution?
No — and we say so honestly. It uses proven image-processing algorithms (grey-world white balance, CLAHE local contrast, edge-aware denoising, unsharp masking). The 2× upscale uses high-quality Lanczos-3 resampling plus sharpening; it makes images larger and crisp but cannot invent detail that was never captured.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Images never leave your device — all processing runs in your browser with JavaScript, and nothing needs to be downloaded.
What photos does it help most?
Indoor photos with a yellow or blue tint, hazy or backlit shots, dark phone photos and slightly soft images. Already well-exposed photos change only a little — lower the sliders if the result looks too strong.
