Each page is straightened with a perspective fix, and you can drag the corners or edges with a magnifier, rotate, or split a book spread into two pages. Filters include Magic colour, No shadows, Black & white and Grayscale, with brightness, contrast and sharpening.
Reorder pages by dragging, then download one PDF in A4, Letter, Legal or A5. Put both sides of an Aadhaar, PAN or ID card on one page at actual size, fit 2 or 4 scans per page, or set a target such as under 200 KB for online forms. Frequently asked questions
Are my scans uploaded?
No. The camera feed, photos and PDFs are processed on your device; nothing is sent to a server. Only the OCR engine and language files download (once) if you turn on searchable PDF.
How do I put both sides of my Aadhaar or PAN card on one page?
Scan the front, then the back, and set Layout to ID card — front + back on one page. Each side is printed at the real card size (85.6 × 54 mm) on an A4 page, like a photocopy.
Can I make the PDF smaller than 200 KB for an online form?
Yes. Choose a Target size; the tool lowers the image quality and resolution step by step until the PDF fits, and tells you if it cannot get that small. Black & white pages give the smallest files.
The camera does not start — why?
Browsers only allow the camera on secure (https) pages and after you allow access. If you blocked it, re-enable it in the site settings (the lock icon in the address bar). On phones you can also use Take photo, which opens your camera app, or add photos.
How does edge detection work?
The page is found as the largest bright, plain area (or the area that differs most from the background), its four corners are estimated and the photo is flattened with a perspective transform. A darker, plain background works best, and you can always drag the corners.
Can it read Hindi?
Yes. Tick Make it searchable and choose Hindi (and English, or any of 15 Indian languages). The text layer is invisible, so the PDF looks the same but you can search and copy text.
How do I scan a document to PDF on my phone?

Can I scan on a computer without a camera?
Yes. Click Add photos or PDF and choose pictures of the pages taken earlier on any phone or camera; they are cropped and cleaned the same way.
