PDF to Long Image

Join the pages of a PDF top to bottom into one long JPG, PNG or WebP image — easy to share on WhatsApp or post as a single scroll.

About PDF to Long Image

Join the pages of a PDF into one tall picture. Choose the width (1080 px for phones up to 2480 px for print), the format, and a gap between pages with its colour, and untick any pages you want to leave out. The result is a single image that scrolls like a web page.

It is handy for sharing a menu, notice, certificate set or short report on WhatsApp or social media where a PDF is awkward. If the pages are too tall for one image, the tool says so and splits them into a few long images. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded.

How to use PDF to Long Image

  1. Drop a PDF or try the sample. Every page is selected.
  2. Choose the image width, format, a gap between pages and its colour.
  3. Untick any pages you want to leave out.
  4. Click Create long image and download it.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is opened and processed entirely inside your browser using JavaScript libraries. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for confidential documents.

Is there a size limit?

Browsers cannot draw images taller than about 32,000 pixels. If your pages would go past that, the width is reduced a little; if that is still not enough, the pages are split into several long images and downloaded as a ZIP. The result says exactly what happened.

Which width should I pick?

1080 px suits phones and WhatsApp, 1240 px matches an A4 page at 150 DPI, and 2480 px is print quality (300 DPI) — but makes a much larger file.

Can I put several pages side by side instead?

Use Multiple Pages per Sheet (N-up) to arrange pages in a grid on one PDF page, then convert that page to an image.

How do I convert a PDF into a single image?

Drop the PDF, keep the pages selected, choose a width and format and click Create long image.

What is the best width for WhatsApp?

1080 px is sharp on phones and keeps the file small. Use 1240 px or more if people will zoom in to read small text.
