Is the love calculator real?
No. It is a word game played with the letters of the two names, like the version many of us played in school. It says nothing about a real relationship, so please do not make decisions based on it.
How is the percentage calculated?
The game counts how many times the letters L, O, V, E and S appear in both names, then keeps adding neighbouring numbers (keeping only the last digit) until two digits are left. Those two digits are the score.
What does FLAMES stand for?
Friends, Love, Affection, Marriage, Enemies and Siblings. Common letters are struck out of both names, the remaining letters are counted, and that count is used to strike out FLAMES letters one by one until one is left.
Are the names saved or sent anywhere?
No. Everything is worked out in your browser and nothing is stored.
How does the FLAMES game work?
Write both names, strike out the letters they share, and count what is left. Then count round the letters F-L-A-M-E-S by that number, striking out where you land, until one letter remains.
How is the love percentage calculated?
The letters L, O, V, E and S are counted in both names, then neighbouring numbers are added (keeping the last digit) until two digits are left.
