Is this QR safe to use for receiving money?
Yes. It simply encodes a standard upi://pay link with your UPI ID. Money goes directly to your bank account through your UPI app — nothing passes through this website.
Should I add an amount?
Leave the amount empty for a counter QR where customers type the amount. Add a fixed amount for a specific bill or invoice so the customer cannot change it by mistake.
Why does my customer see a different name?
UPI apps show the name registered with your bank for that UPI ID. The name you type here is only a hint; the bank-verified name always wins.
Is there a payment limit?
Most banks allow up to ₹1,00,000 per UPI transaction for person-to-person payments, with higher limits for some categories. Check with your bank.
How do I create a UPI QR code with an amount?
Enter your UPI ID and name, type the amount and an optional note, and download. When scanned, the UPI app opens with that amount already filled in.
