Random Name Picker Wheel
Paste names or options and spin a wheel to pick a winner — or shuffle the list and split it into teams.
About Random Name Picker Wheel
This random name picker wheel makes choosing fair and fun. Type or paste names or options, one per line, and click Spin. The wheel turns and lands on a winner at random. Remove the winner to draw the next one, which works well for giving out several prizes or deciding turn order.
You can also shuffle the whole list or split it into evenly sized teams for class activities, office games and sports. Teachers, event hosts and streamers use it for lucky draws and giveaways. It runs in your browser, the names are not uploaded, and it is free with no sign-up.
How to use Random Name Picker Wheel
- Type or paste names, one per line.
- Click Spin (or the wheel) to pick a winner at random.
- Remove the winner to draw the next one.
- Use Shuffle or Teams to randomise the whole list.
Frequently asked questions
Is the wheel fair?
Yes. The winner is chosen first with a cryptographically secure random number, and the wheel animation simply lands on it. Every entry has an equal chance.
How many names can I add?
Up to 100 names fit on the wheel. Shuffle and Teams work with any length.
How are teams balanced?
The list is shuffled, then names are dealt one by one into teams, so team sizes differ by at most one.
How do I pick a random name from a list?
Paste the names, one per line, and click Spin. The name the wheel stops on is the winner.
Can I pick multiple winners with the wheel?
Yes. After each spin, remove the winner and spin again, so the same person cannot win twice.
