About News Reel & Shorts Maker

News Reel & Shorts Maker builds vertical 9:16 news videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and WhatsApp status. Big Hindi or English headlines, summary cards, quote cards and photo sequences with Ken Burns motion are laid out for a phone screen, with your logo, LIVE badge, clock and ticker.

Start from the Viral Reel or the Fatafat 25 Reel template, which flashes 25 headlines in a minute with a big counter and stopwatch intro. Add music, record your voice or generate an AI voice-over, then download an HD MP4. Nothing is uploaded.

How to use News Reel & Shorts Maker

Frequently asked questions

Is the News Video Maker free?

Yes. Every template, theme, transition, the ticker, logo, L-band, intro, outro and HD export are free, with no watermark and no sign-up.

Does it work in Hindi?

Yes. Headlines, lower thirds, summary points, quotes, the ticker and end card accept Hindi (Devanagari) and English. Pick a Hindi font such as Noto Sans Devanagari, Mukta, Khand or Rozha One under Look.

Which layouts and effects are there?

Seven scene layouts (headline with lower third, split screen, picture-in-picture reporter box, summary card with points, byte/quote card, full-screen text and a superfast bulletin), 29 transitions such as iris, double doors, blinds, glitch, RGB split, lens flare and 3D cube, 22 text animations, 8 headline packages and 17 colour themes.

Are there ready-made templates?

Yes: 100 Khabar in 2 Minutes, Superfast 50 (English), Fatafat 25 Reel, Breaking Alert, Ground Report, Court Live, Election Results, Top 5 Bulletin and a 9:16 Viral Reel. Pick one under Scenes, then replace the sample text with your story.

How do I make a “100 khabar in 2 minutes” bulletin?

Load the 100 Khabar template or choose the Superfast bulletin layout for a scene. Paste one headline per line (optionally [category] location | headline) or import a .txt or .csv file, pick 25, 50 or 100 headlines and a total length such as 2:00, and the time per headline is worked out for you. A running counter, countdown bar, category colours, clock ticks and whooshes are added automatically.

Can I add my own photos, videos and logo?

Yes. Each scene takes up to six photos that play in sequence with Ken Burns motion, or one video clip. Split screen and picture-in-picture take a second picture. Your channel logo goes in the corner, the intro and the end card.

How do I add a voice-over?

Open Audio and press Record with preview: the video plays from the start with a teleprompter while your microphone records, so your voice matches the scenes. You can also upload a voice file and background music.

Can an AI voice read the news?

Yes. Under Audio, pick an AI voice (Hindi or English, male or female), a tone, speed and pitch, then generate the voice-over for all scenes or one scene. Scene lengths can follow the speech, bulletin headlines can each be read in time, and music is lowered while the voice speaks. Natural voices run on your device after a one-time download; Azure voices such as Swara appear when the site has them enabled.

MP4 or WebM?

The video is made inside your browser. Recent Chrome and Edge save MP4; other browsers save WebM, which YouTube, Facebook and WhatsApp also accept.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is drawn and recorded on your own device. Saved projects keep the text and settings only.

Which sizes can I make?

16:9 for YouTube and Facebook videos, 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and WhatsApp status, and 1:1 square — in 1080p or 720p.

What size is a news reel?

Reels and Shorts are vertical 9:16, made here at 1080 × 1920 pixels (or 720 × 1280 for a smaller file).

Can I turn my 16:9 news video into a reel?

Yes. Open Look and switch the format to 9:16; every layout rearranges itself for the vertical screen.
