Pregnancy Due Date Calculator

Estimate your due date from the last period (Naegele’s rule, adjusted for cycle length) or conception date, with current week, trimester and scan timeline.

About Pregnancy Due Date Calculator

This pregnancy due date calculator estimates your EDD (expected date of delivery) from the first day of your last period using Naegele’s rule, adjusted for your usual cycle length, or from your conception date. It also shows how many weeks pregnant you are now and which trimester you are in.

A timeline lists when routine scans and tests usually happen, so you can plan visits with your doctor. It is a simple, free online pregnancy due date calculator for expecting parents in India. Your dates stay on your device, and nothing is stored or sent. Always confirm your due date with your doctor’s ultrasound.

How to use Pregnancy Due Date Calculator

  1. Choose whether you know the first day of your last period or the conception date.
  2. Enter the date (and your usual cycle length for the LMP method).
  3. Read your estimated due date, current week and trimester.
  4. Use the timeline to plan routine scans and tests with your doctor.

Frequently asked questions

What is Naegele’s rule?

The due date is the first day of the last menstrual period (LMP) plus 280 days (40 weeks), assuming a 28-day cycle. For longer or shorter cycles the date is shifted by the difference.

How accurate is the due date?

Only about 4–5% of babies arrive on the exact date. Most are born between 38 and 42 weeks. An early ultrasound (before 14 weeks) is the most accurate way to date a pregnancy.

How are pregnancy weeks counted?

Weeks are counted from the LMP, so you are considered about 2 weeks pregnant at conception. The first trimester runs to the end of week 13, the second to week 27, and the third from week 28.

How is the pregnancy due date calculated?

Add 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of your last period, adjusting for cycles longer or shorter than 28 days. The calculator does this for you.

What is EDD in pregnancy?

EDD stands for expected date of delivery. Only a small share of babies arrive exactly on it; most come within two weeks either side.

Can I calculate my due date from the conception date?

Yes. Choose the conception option and it adds 266 days to that date.
